Jones’ Pier Conservation Design & Fabrication of Interpretive Center Exhibits, Indian River County, Florida
R + C works closely with the Parks and Recreation,Conservation Department to provide an innovative design exhibition at the historical bungalow at 7770 Jungle Trail. The bungalow is transformed to become an informational center to the Jones’ Pier Conservation. The exhibit, currently under design, pays homage to the Jones family history and celebrates the conservation efforts on site. Value: 250,000, 2024
Williamsburg Bridge Plaza – Transit Building, Brooklyn, NY. MTA DOT
This project is a joint venture between Metropolitan Transit Authority and Dept of Transportation. DOT funded the sidewalk and road improvements at Williamsburg Bridge Plaza. The work includes a new employee’s facility for MTA staff and a public waiting room for the public. Value: 2M, 2017
Flushing Culture Pavilion – Flushing, NY. Flushing Business Improvement District
Competition winner for the design and construction of the Flushing Cultural Pavilion. The competition was decided by the people’s votes. The winning entry was reported in the local newspaper. The program is a booth that becomes activated for display or expressions of the artists and events in the community. The first installation was puppets done by children from the Queens Museum. Superstorm Sandy Repair and Resiliency Projects – Tiffany Central Warehouse, Bronx NY. MTA
Post Superstorm Sandy 2012, many MTA facilities were found to be at the flood zone. At Tiffany Central Warehouse, the design was done to replace the entire exterior walls to the foundation and a complete roof replacement. Additional structural support was added to support the roof structure. The new wall and foundation will meet the criteria of SLOSH 2’+3’ which is higher than FEMA’s highest guidelines for flood mitigation. Value: 50M, 2023
Superstorm Sandy Repair and Resiliency Projects – Consolidated Revenue Facility, Bronx NY. MTA
Post Superstorm Sandy 2012, many MTA facilities were found to be at the flood zone. At Consolidated Revenue Facility, the design was to construct a perimeter wall for flood mitigation and security. The initial criteria of SLOSH 2’+3’ was proven too expensive for this project. Value engineering was done to meet FEMA 100, the minimal requirement for flood mitigation. This bought down the value to meet the budget. Value: 13M, 2023
Roof Replacement at Ulmer Park Bus Depot – Brooklyn NY. MTA
The roof replacement is a full EPDM assembly down to metal decking. The area is 110, 000 SF. New roof will meet energy code and provide a warranty of 20 years. Value: 4M, 2016
Bus Command Center – Brooklyn NY. MTA
The BCC building is 20,000 SQ FT with two stories on side and a double-height operating theater with a green roof on the other side. HVAC equipment and emergency generators are located on the roof. The BCC will include spaces for offices, conference rooms, administrative support areas, locker room, bunk rooms, communication equipment rooms, power (EDR), UPS, HVAC, emergency generator, fire protection and security booth. New extension of Mezzanine area of 3,000 SF. Total renovation of 15,000 SF of employee space including locker rooms, lunchroom, and offices. New elevator to comply with ADA. Value: 6M, 2020

Window replacement for entire facility at administrative building and bus depot area. Work includes asbestos and lead abatement. Value: 4M, 2016
